- Worst Photos -- Best Photos -Thinking about this trimester is surreal. It feels as though just yesterday I walked into this classroom, nervous about the people I would meet and how difficult the class might be. Over time, I've gained new friends, experience, concepts, and lessons that I will carry with me pertaining to the knowledge of photography. I did not have an idea about photography. I did not know what even aperture meant, but now, I can tell you what ISO you should use on a cloudy day. I have learned so much from this class and I have loved it everyday.
I can't think of a better class to take in high school. I have learned many things, composition, studio lighting, how to use photoshop. I remember taking multimedia last year not knowing nearly as much as I know now. I didn’t know how to use photoshop and because of that I rarely used the computers, but know I understand and love it. I have grown so much this trimester and I’m so glad I took this class. I went from mediocre to advanced and I couldn't be more happier with my progress. Thank you for teaching for this class!

For this assignment we were asked to create four different photos focusing on different techniques through photoshop. The first photo we did "dash of color," where we focused on part of an image with color, and the rest was black and white. The other three photos were allowed to be chosen, and I chose levitation, smoke portrait, and glitch. Levitation was an easy topic, for all I needed to do was erase the table my model was laying on. Smoke portrait proved to be extremely difficult, I took a photo of Zendaya online and another of abstract smoke and combined the two to create the effect that Zendaya was a part of the smoke. The glitch photo is perhaps my favorite one, it was neither too easy nor too difficult, for I took a photo of my brother, made a black background, adjusted the settings and moved parts of my brother around. - Dash of Color -- Levitation -- Smoke Portrait -- Glitch Portrait -This photoshop assignment has been both fun and frustrating, and it has been my favorite so far.
